Job Summary:
This is a full time year round job posting. Not a seasonal job posting.
We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for supervising and performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facility. This is a full time position that requires technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Summer lawn care mowing, trimming, and yard cleanup as required.
- Winter snow removal with skid steer and shovel as required.
- Maintaining a safe environment for our renters.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing and troubleshooting
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Collaborate to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Clean storage units, and make ready to rent as required.
- Refurbish, clean, and maintain our GoBox portable storage units which includes cleaning inside/outside, prepping surfaces for new paint, and repainting as required.
Skills:
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using appropriate tools
- Experience in maintenance, and general repairs
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience in running various lawn equipment, skid steer, and paint sprayer is preferred.
