Description
Work both independently and with our Project Manager, Estimators and Site Forman to assist with the below responsibilities.
Ensure project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications
Responsible for material take-offs and issuing purchase orders, shop drawings
Preparation of as-built drawings and operational and/or maintenance manuals
Build, maintain, and promote good customer and supplier/vendor relationships
Review draws and specifications to ensure required products and materials are properly produced
Create and follow a project plan and construction schedules and milestones are developed and monitor progress against established schedules to include the site foreman and/or site manager
Review contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors and price these changes for consultant and owner approval
Ensure progress reports are developed and progress schedules discussed with employees and clients
Review and track budgets and job costs
Establish and update schedule timelines
Qualifications and required experience
Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Familiar with contract documents, drawings, specifications, schedules and codes of construction
Strong Communication skills essential including effective oral and written communication skills with advanced diplomacy
Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Valuable Asset but not Required
Degree/Diploma in Construction Engineering Technology (Management), Architectural Technology or other Electrical/Mechanical related college programs.
Experience and knowledge of Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Controls) an asset
Red Seal Trade Certification in with minimum 10 years experience as Forman, Manager or Estimator.

Your strong communication and leadership abilities will be essential in managing teams and liaising with clients. With a focus on HVAC and plumbing systems, you will drive project success through effective management and strategic planning.
