Can-Traffic Labourers assist with a variety of installation, maintenance, and repair projects involving street lights, traffic signals, pedestrian crossovers, signage, flashing beacons, and other traffic electrical devices.
Our crews operate Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week, with opportunities for overtime throughout the season. This is a seasonal position, with work primarily during peak construction months. Candidates should be available for periodic out-of-town assignments and night shifts as required.

What you will do Everyday
- Assist crews with the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signals, street lights, and other roadside infrastructure
- Operate hand and power tools; may operate equipment (e.g., skid steers, mini excavators, trenchers) based on training and experience
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure the safety of your team and the public
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous construction experience is an asset
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license
- 5-year Commercial Driver’s Abstract with fewer than 6 demerits
