Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for warehouse operations, including receiving inventory, preparing customer orders, operating a forklift, and maintaining an organized warehouse. The successful candidate will also occasionally deliver products to customers and transport inventory between our warehouse locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and store products.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using proper procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Delivery Duties (Occasional):
- Deliver products to customers in a safe and professional manner.
- Transport inventory between company warehouse locations.
- Load, secure, and unload products safely.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous forklift experience is preferred (certification is an asset; training may be provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset.
