Your Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing, verifying, and organizing merchandise for shipment, ensuring all orders are complete and accurate.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare orders according to customer specifications and purchase orders
- Package products for shipment
- Complete shipping documentation and forms
- Unload commercial product containers
- Move and organize incoming merchandise during receiving operations
- Place products into inventory
- Conduct inventory counts (required)
- Participate in training new employees
- Follow established work procedures and deadlines
- Comply with ISO standards and procedures
- Adhere to occupational health and safety regulations and practices
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Ability to read both imperial and metric measurements
- Ability to use scales and measuring instruments
- Strong manual dexterity
- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs
- Ability to work at heights
