Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Pizza Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering orders promptly and safely, ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks as needed. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport pizzas and other food items to customers within designated areas
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and management regarding delivery status or any issues
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately when required
- Assist with moving supplies or equipment within the restaurant or warehouse as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and related equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks, including handling large or heavy orders safely
- Experience with commercial driving, including familiarity with local traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with moving equipment such as forklifts is a plus but not required
- Ability to operate a forklift or similar equipment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Physical ability to move around frequently, including walking, standing, and lifting for extended periods
