Digital Press Operator
Location: Scarborough, ON (In-Person)
Job Type: Full-Time,
Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join an established Printing and Binding production team. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor digital printing equipment to produce high-quality index tab divider products while ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
· Operate and monitor a high-speed web press printer.
· Manage print production on two Ricoh digital copiers.
· Produce, organize, and prepare high volumes of index tab divider press sheets.
· Load paper stock and other materials into printing equipment.
· Monitor print quality and make adjustments as required.
· Prepare and stage jobs for production according to specifications.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Assist with general production duties as needed.
Qualifications
· Previous experience operating printing, production, manufacturing, or other mechanical equipment is preferred.
· Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Ability to safely lift and move boxes of paper weighing up to 30 lbs.
