Job Title: Pipefitter
Job Description
This role joins a dedicated pipefitting team focused on assembling, installing, and testing industrial piping systems in a modern manufacturing facility. You will work from P&IDs and blueprints to build and install process spools, threaded and socket weld piping, and automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems. The position involves hands-on work with cutting torches, pipe threaders, and a variety of power and hand tools, as well as occasional support for other trades and general facility tasks as needed.
Responsibilities

Assemble and install process spools and piping systems in accordance with P&IDs and blueprints.

Fit and install threaded and socket weld pipe to meet project and safety specifications.

Set major piping components and equipment in place and ensure proper alignment and support.

Cut and thread pipe using cutting torches, pipe threaders, and both power and hand tools.

Install automatic controls and related components used to regulate pipe systems.

Perform bolt-up, spooling, hydrotesting, and final assembly of piping systems.

Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping assemblies to verify integrity and performance.

Support fabrication, installation, and fitting activities in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Perform occasional general tasks and odd jobs around the facility to support overall operations.

Follow all safety procedures, shop guidelines, and quality standards during all work activities.
Essential Skills
-
2+ years of pipefitting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and P&IDs accurately.

Proficiency in assembling, fitting, and installing threaded and socket weld piping systems.

Hands-on experience with cutting torches, pipe threaders, and a variety of power and hand tools.

Demonstrated skills in assembly, bolt-up, spooling, hydrotesting, and piping installation.

Experience in a manufacturing facility with at least 2+ years of experience.

Experience working with compression systems and process piping.

Strong troubleshooting abilities for identifying and resolving piping and system issues.

Knowledge of industrial piping, fitting, and plumbing practices.

Ability to work safely and effectively on night shifts in an industrial setting.

Work Environment
The role is based in a modern manufacturing facility in an industrial area, focused on compression and process piping work for oil and gas applications. You will work primarily on the night shift, Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM on a four 10-hour shift schedule. The shop operates as a state-of-the-art environment with organized workflows, clear power structures, and established safety and quality standards. Work involves regular use of cutting torches, pipe threaders, power tools, and hand tools in an industrial shop setting. The facility emphasizes a professional, safety-conscious atmosphere suitable for heavy industrial and fabrication work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $51.30 - $53.30/hr.
