Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE Daycare Worker to join our early childhood education team. This role involves providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a love for learning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education, with the ability to connect with children of diverse backgrounds and needs.
Duties
- Supervise and interact with children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure a safe learning space
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Follow all licensing regulations, safety protocols, and center policies to ensure compliance and safety standards are met
Qualifications
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and caregiving techniques
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with children
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but may be provided upon hiring
- Ability to pass background checks as required by licensing standards
- Should have level 1, 2 or 3
