As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Painter to join our team.
Position Summary
The Automotive Painter is responsible for preparing and painting fiberglass truck bodies to company quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in automotive or industrial painting, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality finishes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fiberglass truck bodies and components for painting
- Sand, clean, tape, and mask surfaces prior to paint application
- Mix and apply primers, base coats, and finishes using spray equipment
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain paint equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
- Work collaboratively with production staff to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous automotive or industrial painting experience preferred
- Experience with spray guns, paint mixing, and finishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment
