Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animal patients, ensuring their health and well-being. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses, as well as educating pet owners on proper animal care. The Veterinarian will work closely with a team of veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver exceptional service in a professional and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Examine animals to diagnose health issues and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Perform surgical procedures, including spaying and neutering, when necessary
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments to animals
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results to assist in diagnosis (laboratory experience preferred)
- Provide guidance and education to pet owners regarding animal health, nutrition, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards within the clinic
- Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine through ongoing education and professional development
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state
- Prior laboratory experience is preferred to assist with diagnostic testing and analysis
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members

Pay: $65.00-$110.00 per hour
