ActiveCare Physiotherapy & Rehab is looking for an exceptional Physiotherapy Assistant to join our growing multidisciplinary team. We are seeking someone who already has a strong physiotherapy or rehabilitation background and wants to be actively involved in patient recovery—not simply perform administrative tasks.
This position is ideal for:
✔ Physiotherapy Assistants (PTAs)
✔ Kinesiology Graduates
✔ Internationally Trained Physiotherapists
✔ Rehabilitation Assistants
✔ Exercise Therapists
✔ Individuals with previous Physiotherapy Clinic Experience
Physiotherapy Background is REQUIRED
Applicants without previous physiotherapy, rehabilitation, kinesiology, or exercise therapy experience will not be considered.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working directly alongside Physiotherapists to help patients recover from injuries
- Supervising therapeutic exercise programs
- Guiding patients through rehabilitation plans
- Assisting with treatment setup and modalities
- Monitoring patient progress
- Delivering an exceptional patient experience
- Being part of a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team
What We're Looking For
- Previous Physiotherapy Clinic experience (required)
- PTA Diploma, Kinesiology Degree, Rehabilitation Assistant training, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of exercise prescription and rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Professional, energetic, and patient-focused personality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
