Inside Sales Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Client Strategy & Growth
Job Status: Full Time, Salaried, 1-Year Contract
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Work Location: Hybrid (Onsite or in the field up to two times per week)
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000, Dependent on Experience + Eligible for a completion bonus upon successful completion of the contract

The Position
As the Inside Sales Coordinator at Real Food for Real Kids, you will help grow relationships and revenue across childcare, school food service, institutional, wholesale, retail, and emerging packaged product channels.
This role is designed for someone who is energized by inside sales, proactive outreach, and building strong systems that keep opportunities moving. You will support the full sales cycle from lead generation and prospect research to proposal coordination, outbound follow-up, quote preparation, and pipeline management. Success in this role means helping more partners discover the value of fresh, nutritious, kid-friendly meals while ensuring every interaction reflects RFRK’s mission to enable and inspire a lifetime of healthy eating.
Some of the things you’ll get paid to do
- Drive inside sales activity by generating leads, researching prospects, qualifying opportunities, and building outreach lists across childcare centres, schools, institutional buyers, and aligned foodservice channels.
- Manage inbound and outbound sales communication, including responding to inquiries, following up on proposals and quotes, nurturing prospect relationships, and helping create trust through timely, thoughtful service.
- Coordinate sales materials and processes such as proposals, RFP responses, presentations, webinars, quotes, and follow-up packages, ensuring messaging stays aligned with the Real Food for Real Kids brand and mission.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, CRM, and reporting data by tracking sales activity, next steps, channel performance, pricing inputs, and sales projections to support informed decision-making.
- Act as an internal sales hub by collaborating closely with Client Experience, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to keep product information, pricing, availability, and prospect support materials current and actionable.
About You
Required Education & Experience
- 2+ years of sales, business development, or customer success experience in food, education, or other mission-driven fields
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in prospect outreach, follow-up, and presenting information clearly by phone, email, virtual and in-person meetings
- Experience working with CRM, pipeline, or project management systems, with the ability to keep data accurate, organized, and easy to report on
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail across pricing, proposals, product information, and sales documentation
- Comfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, growing business, while staying proactive, responsive, and solutions-oriented
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools, and comfort learning new systems and using automation and AI tools to support personalization, forecasting, and sales efficiency
- Genuine interest in healthy food, child and school nutrition, and the Real Food for Real Kids mission of fuelling healthy futures through real ingredients and thoughtful service
- Ability to attend in-person conferences and networking events within our delivery zone
