Job Overview
Morris Landscapes and Designs are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team for the end of summer/fall season. This is a temporary position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Perform general maintenance tasks including removal of material such as sod, mulch, rock, soil, brick
- Planting of trees, shrubs and ground cover
- Installation & repairs to irrigation
- Irrigation trenching
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
Experience
- Previous labor experience in construction, manufacturing, or a similar field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential traits for success in this role
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
- Must have a valid drivers licence and reliable transportation's a must as you'll need to travel from site to site.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
