CNC Operator Job Description:
We are a well-established signage and large-format printing company with over 15 years of experience in branding. We specialize in high-quality signage, including channel letters, lightboxes, wayfinding signs, pylons, and more. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC routers to produce signage components according to specifications.
- Prepare and adjust digital files for CNC cutting using Corel draw program.
- Interpret technical drawings and job orders to ensure precise outcomes.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Inspect finished signage pieces for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and client expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating CNC routers.
- Proficiency with file preparation software (e.g., V Carve, Corel Draw, Adobe illustrate, )
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with sign-making materials (acrylic, aluminum, wood, PVC, etc.) is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a sign-making environment.
- Knowledge of CNC maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of shop safety protocols.
