Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of equipment and machinery. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, gears, motors, and hydraulic systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical problems to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area during all maintenance activities
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in repairing vehicles
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and impact drivers is preferred
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in maintenance or repair roles is desirable but not mandatory
