Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Daytime Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Assist the head chef in managing daily kitchen operations during daytime hours.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and food service team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety regulations.
- Manage food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health codes.
- Support restaurant management in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards.
- Monitor kitchen operations during shifts to ensure smooth functioning and resolve any issues promptly.
