Job Description – Reception & Sales Support
Reports To
Director of Projects
Summary
Responsible for providing front-line customer service while supporting the organization’s sales and business development efforts through coordination and preparation of proposals. The Reception & Sales Support role is the first point of contract for visitors, vendors, and clients, manages day-to-day reception and administrative functions, and collaborates with internal teams daily.
Job Duties:

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department

Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

Support the sales team during early stages of business development

Respond professionally and promptly to customer questions and proposal related inquiries

Manager the end-to-end of the proposal development process, ensuring deadlines are met, through planning and organization

Responsible for scheduling meetings where required

Ensure all proposals accurately reflect Norseman’s capabilities, brand standard and commitment to quality.

Continuously improve proposal content, messaging, and internal processes Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area at all times

Provide administrative support to various departments as required

All other duties as assigned
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing is considered an asset.

Previous administrative or proposal coordination experience is preferred. Experience working in construction or manufacturing is an asset.

Work Conditions

Office setting, Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; occasional overtime may be required.

Flexibility in work schedule may be arranged.
