Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks across long distances from AB to USA, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight to various destinations. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during trips
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other loading machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs when required
- Strong understanding of logistics and route planning for long-distance transportation
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and dispatchers
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and work in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation

Pay: $54,000.00-$98,000.00 per year
