The Innsville Restaurant has a Fine Dining Room, Casual Pub and Patio.
The Innsville is currently recruiting expierienced candidates for the position of Lead Broiler / Cook
Must be able to work weekdays and weekends as well as days and evenings.
2-3 yrs Grilling Ribs, Steaks, Prime Ribs and other cuts to requested doneness is mandatory .
Must also be willing to cross train and be available to cook and/ or prep for other kitchen stations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook broiled and grilled menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations related to grilling and meal preparation
- Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding work areas
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages
- Serve dishes promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Uphold excellent customer service by ensuring timely meal delivery and addressing guest inquiries when necessary
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry environment
- Strong background in serving, meal preparation, and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
- Previous experience as a grill cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this leadership position
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
