Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Assist with food preparation and presentation when necessary
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, stations, and service areas
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service
- Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, including serving or barista roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food handling, safety, and hygiene practices
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
- Basic food preparation skills are a plus, along with familiarity with food safety protocols
