Reporting to the Manager or designate, the Testing Coordinator is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and delivery of best practice processes and infrastructure for testing of the Authority's enterprise information systems. The Testing Coordinator identifies and adapts industry best practice to the VIHA environment, supports the education of VIHA employees on best practice and coordinates the integration of best practices for testing within the existing project, change and release management practices at VIHA.
Graduation from a recognized degree or diploma program in Computer Science (such as Health Information Science), three years' recent related experience (such as experience in a clinical area - patient care, health records, etc; experience with testing/quality assurance processes, experience with several software development lifecycle methodologies, experience creating use cases and UML diagrams, ITIL foundation training) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
