Vacuum Cooler Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring finished products are properly cooled, stored, organized, and prepared for shipment while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare finished products for distribution.
- Ensure proper product storage within the vacuum cooler.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices to maintain product freshness.
- Verify product labels and ensure accurate staging of orders for shipping.
- Build and wrap pallets for safe transportation.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Work closely with shipping and production teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, warehouse, cooler, or distribution experience is considered an asset.
- Experience working in a refrigerated or food production environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 5:00 PM – approximately 2:00 AM (until finish)
- Training: Approximately 2 weeks
