HIRING CONCRETE CREW LEADER, CONCRETE FINISHER AND CONCRETE LABOURER POSITIONS
General Essential Skills:
- Experienced in concrete placing and finishing
- Able to use all concrete hand tools and power tools (trowel, float, screed, rakes, edger, power screed, concrete vibrator, etc.)
- Can use power tools, hand tools and operate compactors
- Has knowledge in concrete forming and able to assist carpenters in flat and wall forming
- Tying and installing rebar matts for concrete base
- Clean, organized, safety oriented and can perform under pressure
- Creativity, problem solving and effective communication are key skills
- Good attitude, team oriented, result driven and have a desire to grow within the company
- Has good work ethic, appreciates good craftsmanship or workmanship / takes pride in their work.
- Experience operating a skid steer would be considered an asset
- Must have your own form of transportation - crew members are expected to meet at the required job sites
Crew Leader Specific Skills:
- Must be able to clearly communicate with Project Managers and Superintendent to ensure that the needs of the project are met
- Must be able to lead crew members safely, respectfully, and efficiently
- Experience leading a Concrete Crew is essential
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
