Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks within our yards. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, possess strong communication skills, problem solving skills, valid drivers license and have experience working with a pressure washer and basic tools. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in material handling, equipment operation, and customer service while contributing to the efficiency of our operations. Job is seasonal with the potential to continue into the fall if its a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with moving and loading materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Operate a pressure washer and other machinery as needed, following safety protocols (training provided if necessary).
- Support the transportation of goods via commercial driving when qualified.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or vendors on-site.
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during operations.
Experience
- Prior reelated experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment operation.
- Experience with moving heavy loads or working in physically demanding roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with commercial driving is a plus but not mandatory; relevant certifications are welcomed.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and safety compliance.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a fast-paced environment. This position is vital for supporting our operational needs, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
