Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary clean items are readily available for food service
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards within the kitchen environment
- Operate dishwashing machinery safely and correctly, adhering to all operational guidelines
- Restock clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas for easy access during service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and teamwork
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
