Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Law Clerk to join our legal team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and iManage to support case preparation.
- Assist attorneys with drafting legal documents, memos, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Proofread and review legal documents for errors, consistency, and adherence to formatting standards.
- Manage case files through meticulous filing, data entry, and document organization to ensure quick retrieval and confidentiality.
- Support project management activities by tracking deadlines, scheduling meetings, and coordinating case-related tasks.
- Conduct interviews and gather relevant information from clients or witnesses as needed.
- Perform clerical duties including phone etiquette, answering inquiries, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist with general administrative responsibilities such as document filing, scanning, and maintaining electronic records within iManage.
Requirements
- Proven experience or coursework related to law or legal administration; prior clerical or administrative experience is preferred.
- Strong research skills with familiarity in legal research platforms such as LexisNexis.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting memos, summaries, and legal documents with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in proofreading to ensure error-free documentation.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools is a plus.
- Experience with data entry, filing systems, and maintaining electronic document management systems like iManage.
- Good interviewing skills and professional phone etiquette for client interactions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team environment.

Pay: $38,865.04-$82,403.10 per year
