We are looking for a full-time professional Insurance Broker to join our team. As a locally owned brokerage we are committed to providing excellent customer service and expert advice, fostering lasting relationships that retain existing clients and attract new ones.
Here Is What a Typical Day Looks Like
- You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
- Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
- You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
- Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
- Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business
What you’ll do:
- Service existing clients
- Write new business
- Utilize technology to do your work, stay organized and keep good documentation
- Work and collaborate with a team of brokers
- Administrative & Processing Support Tasks
What we’re looking for:
- Level 1 General Insurance License
- Personal lines insurance experience – writing new business and servicing existing clients.
- Experience with Epic, Applied Rating services, and company portals is an asset.
- A knowledgeable insurance broker who has excellent communication skills, provides expert advise, values customer service, is adaptable and committed to continuous learning.
- Insurance experience is an asset but we will train the right candidate.
