We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional in the position of a Garage Door Helper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of construction and repair, with the ability to work independently and efficiently. This role involves helping the lead hand with installing, maintaining, and repairing garage doors and their components, ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service. You serve as the frontline ambassador for Viking Doors and are the customer’s direct connection to our company values and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Helping the lead hand with installing and repairing various types of garage doors and openers.
- Learning to troubleshoot issues with garage door systems and provide effective solutions and ideas.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and installations.
- Read and interpret manuals and instructions to understand installation requirements.
- Help the Lead Installer and Service Technician to restore or replace damaged components as necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.

- Garage door experience is an asset, but full training is provided

Pay: $18.25-$23.00 per hour
