At our King West location, we're a hole in the wall establishment with food truck vibes. We offer a positive and supportive work environment with like-minded individuals.
We want someone who has all the following skills and qualities:
- Punctual - you’re on time, all the time!
- Passionate - you love food and bringing joy to others with food. You're eager to learn our techniques and you strive for perfection.
- Physically fit - smashing and scraping 100s of patties every day can be extremely taxing on the body, if you lack the upper body strength, this might not be the right position for you.
- Presentable - our kitchen is open so both you and the kitchen need to be presentable.
- Attention to detail - you’re thorough, you are accurate and you complete orders to the high standards that we expect.
- Excellent communicator - you’re comfortable responding to customer questions, quality checking and resolving concerns.
- Tech literate - you can quickly navigate through Toast POS to take orders accurately, add modifiers and offer refunds in a timely manner.
- Food handler - must have a food handler certificate or are willing to get one. We want you to always maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Flexible - you understand and accept working earlier/later than scheduled is a part of this industry. We're also open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays so it's highly likely you'll miss the last train if you are reliant on public transport.
- Dedicated - we’re a tightknit team and we're growing and you want to be a part of that growth.
