Position Overview
Mona's Sodas is looking for a dependable and motivated Key Holder to help support daily operations. As a Key Holder, you'll help open and close the store, support team members, and ensure customers have a fun, fast, and friendly experience.
The position is a part-time position that requires weekday availability. You must be available for Wednesdays and Thursdays at minimum. Employment can start immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Opening & Closing
- Open and/or close the store
- Count cash drawers and handle basic cash procedures
- Ensure the store is clean, stocked, and ready for business
- Follow opening and closing checklists
Customer Experience
- Deliver friendly, fast, and welcoming service
- Maintain Mona's Sodas' fun, family-friendly atmosphere
- Assist customers with menu questions and recommendations
- Help keep lines moving during peak hours
Operations Support
- Monitor supplies and restock as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of counters, equipment, and dining area
- Follow food safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist with receiving deliveries when needed
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or food service experience an asset
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Comfortable taking initiative and leading small teams
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 30 lbs (ice, syrups, supplies)
- Working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits
