We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Fractional Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations across multiple facilities on a flexible, part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements, optimize production workflows, and ensure high-quality output through effective management of resources and teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing, supply chain management, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and product excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop production schedules and capacity plans
- Improve labour productivity and plant efficiency
- Lead food safety and quality initiatives
- Analyze production KPIs and identify improvements
- Reduce waste, downtime, and manufacturing costs
- Mentor supervisors and production leads
- Support seasonal demand planning
- Establish standard operating procedures
- Lead continuous improvement projects
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in food manufacturing operations
- 5+ years leading manufacturing teams
- Experience in dairy, ice cream, frozen desserts, or food processing
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety systems
- Lean Manufacturing experience
- Proven ability to improve OEE and labour efficiency

Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage or one year contract.
