We have operations in both shopping centres and festivals, and are best known for our tanghulu, the #1 fresh fruit dessert on the market. We currently operate at 5 shopping centres, in addition to over 100 festivals per year, including some of the biggest festivals in Canada, and attract a wide customer base that that transcends age, culture and nationality. The Opportunity:
We are looking for food servicing professionals to sell our candy fruit (Tanghulu) and other products at our Super Crunch Tanghulu kiosk at Bayshore Shopping Centre. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the sales industry, develop teamwork and entrepreneurial skills, as well as take on necessary duties while working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maximize store business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain exceptional product knowledge
- Provide a great shopping experience to the customer, and maintain compelling merchandise presentation that will encourage positive customer connections and loyalty
- Foster teamwork, collaboration within the store
- Maintain effective, open lines of communication with other team members
- Carry out other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1 year customer service experience, particularly in the food industry (preferred)
- Basic math skills, including retail math
- Open, approachable, and outgoing attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers
- Excellent customer service and strong will to assist customer needs
- Motivated and driven to achieve results
- Ability to work efficiently in the fast-paced team environment
- Openness to learn and develop new skills
- Flexibility and ability to quickly adopt to change
- Ability to assume a variety of scheduled shifts including closing shifts and weekends as required.
