We are seeking a motivated and dependable Installer/Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various foundation coating installations as well as support and maintenance at our facility.
Primary Role will be to assist with and learn the process of installing foundation coating materials and completion of all steps required to meet Ontario Building Code Inspections.
Requirements
· Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials safely
· Experience with power tools for cutting, installing and finishing job requirements
· Attention to details and good hand/eye coordination
· Understanding and ability to use manual hand tools including shoveling & raking
· Willingness to work independently and follow instructions
Other Responsibilities
· General shop and facility cleaning
· Organizing shop areas, materials, tools, and supplies
· Sorting and organizing scrap metal
· Moving materials and parts throughout the shop
· Taking out garbage and recycling
· Sweeping and keeping work areas clean and safe
· Assisting with loading and unloading inventory as required
· Basic outdoor and property cleanup
· Helping with miscellaneous shop tasks and odd jobs as needed
· Following workplace health and safety procedures
Qualifications
· Dependable and punctual
· Comfortable performing physical work
· Organized and willing to take initiative
· Previous shop, warehouse, or general labour experience is an asset but not required
· Forklift, skid loader experience is an asset
We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to work, and comfortable taking on a variety of different tasks throughout the day.
Pay: $21-25.00 per hour
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
