Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hard working bottle sorter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently sorting products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Duties
- Sort refundable beverage containers by material type (plastic, aluminum, glass, etc.)
- Assist with bagging, counting, and preparing materials for shipment
- Perform light lifting tasks safely to handle materials and products during the sorting process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment
- Follow all health & safety protocols
- Support customers or other team members as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting and moving heavy objects
- Customer service is an asset
- Class 5 BC Driver's Licence is an asset (not required)
- Forklift Certification is an asset (not required)
Pay: From $18.25 per hour
