Position Summary
We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records across the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for physically counting raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and pallets, reconciling inventory against the ERP system, and investigating discrepancies.
This is a hands-on, on-site position that involves working across the production floor, warehouse, and office/workstation. Accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and follow-through are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled cycle counts across storage and production areas.
- Accurately record inventory counts in the ERP system.
- Perform daily counts of finished goods, raw materials, consumables, and pallets.
- Verify production quantities for each shift and enter the information into the ERP system.
- Perform recounts when physical inventory does not match system records.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes where possible.
- Report shortages, damaged materials, and inventory variances to management with appropriate supporting information.
- Stage consumables and production materials to ensure manufacturing lines have the required supplies.
- Assist with maintaining and improving inventory control procedures, counting schedules, and inventory location accuracy.
- Follow established quality procedures and contribute to continual improvement and QMS objectives.
- Comply with all company health, safety, and PPE requirements.
- Perform other inventory and operational duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation
- Valid Forklift Certification
- Sit-down counterbalance forklift experience and Inventory/cycle count experience.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and unit conversions.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehousing, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Valid forklift certification with demonstrated experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift.
- Previous experience using an ERP or inventory management system is an asset. Training will be provided on the system used at the facility.

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and occasional overtime as required.
Physical & Working Conditions
This position is primarily performed in an active manufacturing and warehouse environment, with some time spent at a desk or workstation performing data entry.
The role requires:
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for most of an 8–10 hour shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 25 lbs (approximately 11 kg).
- Working around dust, noise, product odors, and varying temperatures.
- Operating powered material-handling equipment.
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Working in and around active production and warehouse operations.
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
