Position Title: Marketing & Development Coordinator
Reports To: Executive Director
Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Hourly Wage: $23 - $25 per hour

Position Summary
The Marketing & Development Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing all internal and external marketing and communications efforts to raise awareness of LSCO’s mission, programs, and events; build the LSCO brand; support fundraising; and engage community partners.

Marketing and Communications
- Develop and implement annual marketing and communications plans, including setting goals, identifying target audiences, key messaging, and appropriate channels.
- Oversee the LSCO’s rebranding efforts (2026) and maintain consistent brand identity, including adherence to brand guidelines across all materials.
- Manage and update the LSCO website and social media channels: plan content, write and edit posts, schedule updates, analyze engagement data, and refine strategies.
- Design graphics and collateral for events, programs, social media, and promotional materials including flyers, posters, and advertisements.
- Collect information from the LSCO and provide it to the external graphic designer to create the newspaper.
- Collect information for the LSCO’s Annual Report and provide it to the external graphic designer.
- Oversee advertising sales and distribution of the LSCO Senior Times Newspaper to promote LSCO services and generate advertising revenue.
Fund Development
- Lead communications for fundraising initiatives including donor appeals, Giving Day/Giving Tuesday campaigns, event promotions, and stewardship materials.
- Support the Executive Director in building and maintaining partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and donors to secure sponsorships and donations.
- Develop sponsorship packages, benefit decks, and proposal templates; track sponsor commitments and fulfill recognition obligations.
- Oversee all aspects of the annual 23 Days of Christmas Fundraiser marketing and communications, including campaign timelines, creative assets, donor updates, and social promotion.
- Oversee all aspects of the annual Live Well and Fall Fundraiser, including the event logistics, marketing and communications, including campaign timelines, creative assets, donor updates, and social promotion.
- Coordinate with event and volunteer coordinators to align marketing materials with fundraising goals and event logistics.
- Maintain donor and sponsor databases; ensure accurate record-keeping, acknowledgment letters, and impact reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- A diploma or degree in marketing, nonprofit communications, or a related field.
- Experience in event planning, marketing, fundraising, or community engagement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in social media management and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Passion for working with seniors and supporting non-profit initiatives.
- Experience in a non-profit or community-based organization.
- Current Criminal Record Check (within 90 days of employment).

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
