Position Purpose and Summary
The Financial Services Administrator is a key member of the Finance department, providing foundational support across accounts payable, purchase card administration, cashiering, and general accounting processes.
This role contributes to accurate transaction processing, financial integrity, and internal controls while supporting month-end, year-end, and ongoing finance operations.
Key Areas of Accountability
Shared Duties across Financial Services Roles

General financial processing: Process financial transactions including invoices, expense claims, disbursements, and journal entries in accordance with University policies.

Financial data & reconciliations: Support basic account reconciliations (clearing accounts, prepaid/accrual adjustments) and assist with month-end processes.

Customer service & campus support: Provide responsive and professional support to departments, staff, students, and external vendors.

Compliance & internal controls: Ensure financial processes are carried out in accordance with University policies and internal controls.

Process improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial processes, systems, and documentation.
Duties Focused in this Position

P-Card Program Support: Day-to-day administration, monitoring, and follow-up of

cardholder activity.

Accounts Payable Processing: day-to-day invoice and expense processing and related documentation.

Campus Cashier: Receive and process transactions in an accurate and timely manner.

Standards & Requirements
Education: Diploma or degree in accounting, business, or related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of related experience (or equivalent combination).
