J & S Landscaping Inc. is a respected commercial and industrial grounds management company seeking hardworking, dedicated individuals to join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to complete daily maintenance tasks
- Follow instructions and direction from supervisors to ensure quality results
- Communicate clearly and work effectively within a team
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned work within schedule
- Perform routine landscape tasks such as grass cutting, trimming, cleanup, and related duties
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Requirements
- Experience with horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Reliable transportation to and from our shop in Dorchester is required
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including pruning, mowing, fertilizing, and pest control is a plus
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to travel between work sites if necessary
- Prior experience in maintenance or groundskeeping is advantageous but not required
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
