This isn’t a desk job. Our technicians travel, solve problems, install equipment, and help bring large-scale aquaculture systems to life.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Traveling to project sites across North America (sometimes remote and isolated locations)
- Installing, troubleshooting, and servicing lobster tanks and aquaculture systems (aka giant fish tanks!)
- Working independently on-site, while staying connected with our office team
- Using plumbing, mechanical, and problem-solving skills to keep systems running smoothly
- Representing APS with professionalism and pride; we’re known for our expertise, and you’ll be part of that reputation
What We’re Looking For
- A valid Canadian passport (non-negotiable—you’ll be traveling to the U.S.)
- A clean driving record and comfort driving in rural/remote areas
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in different environments
- Hands-on experience with tools (plumbing, mechanical trades, or aquaculture is a bonus!)
- Willingness to travel for extended periods when projects require
- A team player with a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs regularly (equipment, tools, and materials)
- Comfortable working around water, in varied weather conditions, and in physically demanding environments
- Capable of standing, bending, kneeling, and working on your feet for extended periods
