Job Overview
The Beauty Advisor role handles customer service and order fulfillment for janeiredale.ca. The role provides best-in-class customer service through phone, chat, email and virtual consultations. Beauty Advisors are experts in providing beauty advice and application guidance. Order fulfillment support is provided to follow through on the customer service and to process orders to be delivered to the customer. This is a full-time position located at our Canadian headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Engage promptly and enthusiastically to all customer inquiries.
- Advise customers on application, colour and use of products.
- Share in-depth knowledge across our range of makeup and skincare.
- Communicate clearly and politely both verbally and in written format.
- Listen and understand the needs of the customer.
- Build lasting relationships with customers.
- Handle and resolve customer concerns.
- Contribute to a team environment and workload.
- Process orders (pick, pack, ship).
Qualifications
- Computer literacy required
- High School Diploma required
- Experience in customer service and/or hospitality preferred.
- Warm, cheerful, and enthusiastic
- Ability to prioritize
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Passionate about makeup and skincare
- Can lift up to 30 lbs.
- Bilingual (in English and French) is an asset
