Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Support Specialist – French Services to plan, design, implement, and manage workshops and training programs delivered in French and bilingual settings. This role combines program delivery, curriculum development, project management, community engagement, and support for funding and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate is energetic, adaptable, and passionate about education, community programming, and supporting Francophone and bilingual learners.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop & Training Delivery (French & Bilingual Programs)
- Deliver workshops and training programs in French and/or bilingual formats, including:
- Customer service
- Warehousing, packaging, and labeling
- Food handling and safety
- Digital literacy
- Other specialized training programs as required
- Develop and adapt curriculum, lesson plans, and training materials in French and English as needed.
- Customize training content to meet the needs of diverse Francophone learners and community partners.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food handling, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Assess participant progress, collect feedback, and provide follow-up support or referrals.
Program Development & Implementation
- Design, develop, and launch new training programs aligned with organizational goals and Francophone community needs.
- Lead full program implementation, including planning, timelines, deliverables, and evaluation metrics.
- Pilot and refine programs based on participant feedback and performance outcomes.
- Develop program frameworks, logic models, and performance indicators.
Project Management
- Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and progress reports.
- Coordinate staff, instructors, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify risks and implement proactive solutions.
Program & Operational Support
- Support scheduling, logistics, facilities coordination, and training materials preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, attendance, and outcomes.
- Support continuous improvement through data tracking, reporting, and evaluation.
Funding & Program Development
- Research funding opportunities including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships supporting Francophone and bilingual programming.
- Support grant writing, proposals, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in funder and donor engagement and stewardship.
- Contribute to strategies that strengthen program sustainability and funding diversification.
Business Development & Strategy
- Support organizational growth initiatives, partnerships, and training opportunities within Francophone communities.
- Identify opportunities for new services, and collaborations.
- Contribute to strategic planning and program expansion efforts.
Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with funders, employers, instructors, and Francophone community stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at meetings, events, and community forums as required.
Other Duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and program success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, education, business, or related field (preferred).
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Experience designing and delivering workshops or training programs.
- Strong project management and program coordination experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both official languages.
- Grant writing experience considered an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and digital tools.

Pay: $41,050.11-$55,161.00 per year
