We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background and a passion for automotive repair. This role involves performing routine maintenance services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Lube Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service while demonstrating knowledge of automotive systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services on various vehicles
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
- Assist in the sales of maintenance services and products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including tools and equipment
- Lift heavy objects as needed during vehicle servicing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of services
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required
- No experience needed however experienced preferred
- Mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with various automotive systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices in the automotive industry
