Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, headquartered in Long Valley, NJ. We are seeking a full‑time Fabricator for our Trenton, ON facility. This position requires weekday training before transitioning to a weekend shift once competency is achieved.

Position Summary
The Fabricator is responsible for machining, measuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment to support the production of metal racking systems. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Load feed mechanisms by lifting stock into position
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first‑run parts, and sample workpieces
- Perform drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread‑chasing operations
- Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, and replace or sharpen tools
- Maintain quality assurance standards and follow all safety procedures
- Complete required record‑keeping and generate production reports
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues; request repairs when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measures to 1/16” increments
- Ability to interpret drawings for dimensions and weld patterns
- Ability to read process, procedure, and instruction manuals
- Ability to count, add, and subtract fractions and decimals
- Punch brake or mechanical equipment experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Work performed in a production environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, heavy equipment, and machinery
- Physical activities include climbing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
- Must be able to exert:
- Up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Up to 30 lbs. frequently
- Up to 20 lbs. constantly
