Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Water Damage Restoration Technician/ Skilled Labourer, Mold & Asbestos Abatement and Remediation Technician/ Labourer to join our small team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Manual Physical Labour and a crew cheif managing crew on Water Damage Losses/ Mold & Asbestos Jobs.
Duties
- Manual Physical Labour, DEMO of Affected Materials (Mostly Residential)
- Detail Oriented Cleaning of Affected Materials
- Heavy Lifting, Carrying and Shifting
- Packing, Boxing and or Moving Affected and Non Affected Contents
- Not Afraid to Get Dirty and or Work Hard in Dusty Environments
- Be Comfortable to Work while Wearing PPE (Full or Half Face Respirator, Masks, Tyvek Suits, Gloves and other PPE as Needed
- Crew Cheif Candidate would handle Jobs from Beginning to End with little Supervision Sometimes.
- Crew Cheif Candidate would be Responsible for 3 to 4 Labourers Helping Finish the Project Sometimes.
Requirements
- Water Damage Restoration, Mold & Asbestos Removal EXPERIENCE is a Major Asset but NOT REQUIRED.
- Construction Experience is REQUIRED
-Water Damage Technician/ Mold Or Asbestos Worker Certificates is Also a Major Asset but NOT Required
- Must Be Able to Drive and Have a Valid Driver's Licence (Right Candidate will Drive Company Truck)
- Proficiency in using hand tools
- Ability to operate power tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Freelance
Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
