- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment details, and session notes in accordance with hospital protocols
- Monitor patient safety during therapy sessions, promptly reporting any concerns or adverse reactions to the supervising physiotherapist
- Facilitate patient education by providing information on exercises, postural techniques, and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless service delivery
Skills
- Prior experience working in hospital or acute care environments is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols
