Camp Tamakwa is looking for General Kitchen Helpers to join our 2026 Summer team.
Salad Bat prep Cook Responsibilities include, Skicing and dicing of fresh vegetables making compound salads such as potato and pasta salads. Service of the salad bar to the campers and staff during lunch and dinner. Maintaining a hygienic work area . Some kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
Dishwasher responsibilities include managing the dish area monitoring chemicals usage and appropriate chemical levels. Daily cleaning of kitchen. When there are not dishes or other cleaning to be done stewards will assist in food preparation.
All accommodation and meals are provided at no cost.
Camp Tamakwa is a wonderful place to spend the summer, staff has access to all the camp facilities and activities including canoes, kayaks, fishing, roller hockey and basketball, clay studio, music , half court tennis, archery. All expenses at camp are covered so all pay is savings making this an excellent opportunity for students to save money for school.
