Position Overview
The Through Hole Assembler (Afternoon Shift) is responsible for manually inserting electronic components into PCBs, soldering, and performing quality checks. The role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
· Manually insert electronic components into PCBs according to diagrams and work orders.
· Perform soldering using manual techniques or soldering machines.
· Conduct visual inspections to verify solder joints and component placement.
· Follow IPC standards and ESD safety protocols.
· Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure tools are in good condition.
· Assist with troubleshooting and perform rework or touch-up soldering as needed.
· Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
Skills Required
· Understanding of IPC standards, ESD safety protocols, and electronics assembly processes.
· Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings; proficiency in soldering techniques.
· Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
· Reliability, teamwork, and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
· Ability to perform repetitive motions and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Qualifications
· Previous experience in electronics assembly with a focus on through-hole technology preferred.
· Afternoon Shift : 4p.m. to Midnight.
