Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure top-quality standards
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the property
- Handle laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other shared spaces to uphold the hotel’s high standards of hygiene
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures in accordance with health regulations and industry best practices
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to support overall hotel operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and custodial practices
- Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks throughout your shift
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment or housekeeping management systems is a plus
- A positive work ethic combined with reliability and punctuality
