Shannon Lake Golf Club is currently seeking a motivated, organized, and passionate Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to grow their career in hospitality while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Position Overview
The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager works closely with the Food & Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to support daily operations, staff leadership, and guest experience. This role is key to ensuring smooth service, strong team culture, and high operational standards.
This is a working management position and may include serving and/or bartending shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day restaurant, bar, and event operations
- Support scheduling, staff supervision, and shift coverage
- Help train, coach, and motivate FOH and BOH team members
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Support event planning and execution (weddings, tournaments, parties, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with food safety and liquor regulations
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Provide table service and bar service when needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in food & beverage or hospitality management
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience is mandatory
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling, and inventory is an asset
- Serving It Right (mandatory)

Schedule
